In 2017, we underwent an advanced 2-year property training with the Legacy Education. We've studied with some of the UK's most experienced property investors. And each year, we continue our professional development with additional training.
We work closely with a mentor, one of the UK's most experienced investors. And as professional landlords, we are certified by the National Landlord Association and are members of the Landlords National Purchasing Group.
Every day, we're in conversation with a group of nearly 1000 professional investors who invest across the UK and internationally as part of the Prosperity Network. Leslie also runs a group of female property investors who meet throughout the year and are active via WhatsApp daily.
We met as tenants in a houseshare in 2009. Eight years later, we took our experience as tenants into our own property investment business. The motivation? To redefine renting and offer up a landlord service that puts tenants at ease. Instead of haggling for house maintenance, we wanted our tenants to know it's okay to raise concerns and to exercise their rights to live in safe, comfortable conditions. Instead of endlessly cutting corners for profit, we wanted our development projects to result in quality homes people can fall in love with and make friends in.
As we grew, we've come to realise a real passion for transforming homes. We focus on renovations that produce homes for re-sale, buy-to-let properties we keep in our portfolio as well as social housing projects.
If you're inspired by the mission to breathe new life into tired homes, get involved.
“We need red blood cells to live (the same way a business needs profits to live), but the purpose of life is more than to make red blood cells (the same way the purpose of business is more than simply to generate profits).”
– R. Edward Freedman, University of Virginia Darden School of Business professor.
